By car - parking

 

If you want to drive down to Mariemont, you can take different motorways:

E19: exit 20 (Feluy), direction Thuin via N59, then Mariemont.

E42: exit 18b (Chapelle-lez-Herlaimont), direction Thuin via N59, then Mariemont

or exit 19 (Manage), direction Mariemont.

Enter then "Drève de Mariemont" in your GPS (GPS coordinates: 50°28'N / 4°13'E).

  • Charleroi: 27 km - 25 minutes

  • Brussels: 60 km - 55 minutes
  • Liège: 110 km - 1h10

PARKING

The Royal Museum of Mariemont is in the middle of the Estate of Mariemont (45ha).

There is NO PARKING INSIDE the Park, so you need to park your car outside of the Estate to get to the Museum. 

There are different possibilities to park your car around the Estate. Here are some of them :

     - Main entrance to the Estate

               => Along the Avenue (Drève de Mariemont)

               => Along the Estate walls

               => On La Hestre square

               + Access to the Museum

     - Entrance via the lower part of the Estate

               => The railway parking

               => The tourist lodge parking

               + Access to the Museum

Main entrance to the Estate

If you enter the Estate via the main entrance (recommended to disabled persons), there are three possibilities to park your car

To be sure to arrive at this entrance, enter « Drève de Mariemont » in your GPS.

 

 

Along the Avenue (Drève de Mariemont)

Along the Estate walls

At the end of the « Drève de Mariemont », turn right (Rue de Mariemont).

On La Hestre square

Once parked on La Hestre square, walk back, on the same way, to the main entrance.

From the main entrance to the Museum

If you are parked there, you enter the Estate via the main entrance, and you go to the Museum on flat and asphalt lanes.

Entrance via the lower part of the Estate

If you enter the Estate via its lower part (railway), there are two possibilities to park your car.

To be sure to arrive at this entrance, enter « Chaussée de Mariemont, 71 » in your GPS.

!! This way is not accessible for disabled persons !!

 

 

The railway parking

Go down the « Chaussée de Mariemont » and at the crossroads before the railway, turn right. The car park is on our left. To access this car park, you have to go to the end of it and come back.

The tourist lodge parking

Go down the « Chaussée de Mariemont » and at the crossroads before the railway, turn left. The car park is located after the tourist lodge.

From the lower part of the Estate to the Museum

If you are parked there, you enter the Estate via its lower part. Attention, this way goes up and can be more tiring.

!! This way is not accessible for disabled persons !! 

660m – 15 to 20 minutes – difference in altitude: 40m

The Royal Museum of Mariemont welcomes you from 10am to 6pm. Our doors will be open every day, except on Mondays.

The Park is open from 8am to 7pm every day.
